3 Pregos = 3 Beautiful Babies
I don't know what it is but this time of the year I have had nearly 9 friends have babies in a month in a half. My friend Kara (below) reminded me that they were all conceived around Valentine's Day. That explains EVERYTHING! =) But these three girls in particular had babies so close together- I just had to highlight it. They all three mean a lot to me!

The cute Kaufman's - Doug (Kara's husband) was in our ward at King Henry when me and Ry were dating- and now they are in our ward again. What a small world! Picture above w/ daugther Emalyn shortly before she delivered.

(Yes- both Kelli & Stephanie named their little boys Carter James- and they were born on the exact same day even though they were due two weeks apart! On top of that- Doug (Kara's husband is Steph's cousin- and their babies were one ounce apart and both 20.5 inches long!)
Aaron sold with Ry in Baltimore- and still sell together now. Aaron & Steph have been great friends to us.

This has all caused me to REFLECT back on Kad six months ago...
Remember this little 5 lbs. 3 ozs. "fighter" that came out in 1 hour and forty minutes
-All the ladies above had babies in 13 + hours - Ryan goes "Does it really take that long for babies to come in the world? - Man, Kad did come fast!" ha He sure did!!!
I remember the first time Ry held Kad- it was a look I had NEVER seen Ryan have before. This picture really says it all- I remember asking Ryan "how does it feel to be a dad?" his response, "I can't describe it- I can't put into words how much I already love this little boy."
I remember LITERALLY the moment they took him out of me and put him on my stomach to suck out everything- He knew who I was that exact moment! The doctor said he has been delivering for 30 + years and had never seen a newborn recognize him mom as fast as Kaden did. =) I remember putting him on my chest- and it felt as if an angel was touching my shoulder- I never felt in my life that God was more proud of me than at that moment. Truly, one of my most precious spiritual experiences.
The day you take home your baby is one to remember. You drive safer than you ever have. This picture reminds me of how little Kad was in his newborn clothes- coming home at 4 lbs. 10 ounces. He looks like he should be in the womb =) Kad has brought such a love to our home, and I am so grateful he came to us! It's times like this when your friend's or loved ones have children- that it reminds you how precious life really is!!

Thanks for your post- you about had me crying at the end! It's so true....you see deliveries in movies and whatnot but you have no idea what a spiritual experience it is until it is your child that you are seeing for the first time. And those moments mean more and more as the months go by.....I LOVE being a mom!!
